Are you newly benefit eligible at CVA?

  • Outside of your newly eligible or annual benefit enrollment you need to have a qualifying life event (marital change, birth/adoption of child, or loss/gained coverage). This change needs to be reported in 30 days. Click the "Enrollment and FAQ" link for more resources to enroll.

CVA's benefits start first of the month following your date of hire.

  • You can select your benefit election on your first day of employment. Early enrollment is encouraged to allow vendors adequate time to set up your benefits and mail your cards out.

  • You have 10 days from date of hire in order to elect benefits.

  • You must actively enroll or waive benefits

  • Employer paid benefits require a beneficiary designation

Qualified Life Events

  • In order to make a change mid-plan year you need to have a qualifying event (marital change, birth/adoption of child, loss/gained coverage, etc.). Documentation is due to Talent within 30 days of the life event happening.

​

Change of Address

  • Address changes are to be submitted through ADP

  • Milliman (401k), UBG, and HSA Bank (HSA) must be updated directly.
